Carolyn and Theresa Visit Ike

Carolyn and Theresa came from Arkansas for a visit. It was wonderful introducing them to Ike and showing Theresa New York City. They were really ambitious visitors - in four days they saw a play, went to three museums, visited the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Prospect and Central Park, went shopping, met Amanda several times in Manhattan and re-arranged our family room. Whew! Carrie joined the party from Philadelphia for some real, true family fun.

Happy 40th Anniversary!

Nancy and Robert celebrated 40 years of marriage! Congratulations Nana and Granddad! We had a weekend full of food, drink, chocolate, Michael Jackson videos and bocce. Carrie and her friend Nate came down from Philadelphia and cousin Aaron had a visit from Portland.

The weather was beautiful, and Mark introduced Ike to the joys of being naked outdoors.

The 4th of July

We know this post is very late! But we wanted to share some photos of our very fun fourth of July! Along with many others, we enjoyed Prospect Park, and Ike had another opportunity to get naked in the grass. Then we went to a rooftop party where Ike was given lots of love, did lots of nursing and napping, and then finally fell asleep in Mark's arms. We ended the night eating tacos with Maya and Irene in Sunset Park. It was a beautiful, mellow day.
